Lewd? Maybe. Questionable? Definitely.

I have a feeling a man developed this classy piece of workout equipment for women. The Shake Weight can be seen in the video below.

Often times, there’s a lot of market research that goes into these things people sell. I would like to have seen that. Did no woman think, “That looks highly and erotically suspicious.” I assure you there are a few Creepy McCreppersons out there who’ve gone out and bought their wifey a Shake Weight.

Want a Pair of Animal Legs?

If this isn’t the most disturbing thing I’ve seen all day, I don’t know what is.  No, no…  I’m not talking about the pair of enormous centaur legs that woman is sporting.  I’m speaking of that mind-boggling skirt she’s wearing near the end of the video.  Iridescent brown?  I rest my case.  Dis-turb-ing.

Lovely Lyrics

A group of wonderful musicians, Coldplay–you may have heard of ’em–have far too many brilliant, beautiful melodies for me to be able to rave about them all. However, a short and sweet song you might enjoy is “Trouble.”

Oh no, I see
A spider web is tangled up with me
And I lost my head
The thought of all the stupid things I’d said

Oh no, what’s this
A spider web, and I’m caught in the middle
So I turn to run
The thought of all the stupid things I’ve done

And I never meant to cause you trouble
I never meant to do you wrong
And I, well, if I ever caused you trouble
And, oh no, I never meant to do you harm

O no, I see,
A spider web, and it’s me in the middle
So I twist and turn
Here am I in my little bubble

Singing I, I never meant to cause you trouble
And I, I never meant to do you wrong
And I, well, if I ever caused you trouble
Oh, no I never meant to do you harm

They spun a web for me
They spun a web for me
They spun a web for me

What if I got it wrong

Parenting Attachments

My professor’s husband is a part of an e-show called DadLabs, which is an absolute riot. In this clip, my professor’s father-in-law has a few words of advice for his son–and my professor’s husband–regarding the Empathy Belly, and the overall advisability of gaining insight by strapping things on. “Sometimes there is no substitute for the wisdom of experience.”

“Hometown Glory”

Adele, the Grammy-winning English crooner, has had mad props given to her for her divine talent and sensational debut album, “19.” Her commanding vocals resemble those of Etta James and Amy Winehouse, yet Adele maintains a very distinctive sound.

Songs like “Chasing Pavement” and “Cold Shoulder” rocketed Adele to stardom, even earning her the Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance awards at the Grammys this year. The song that ignites my bones, however, is Adele’s soon-to-be smash hit, “Hometown Glory.” It’s poetic; it’s haunting; it’s ardent.

I beg you to listen to it, and see if you don’t find yourself reminiscing of summers during your childhood or growing up in the cities and suburbs.

Love that Adele.

And, my favorites…

The woman on the dolphin both cracks me up and freaks me out.

Can Miller produce a one-second commerical? Oh, yes they can.
